1st Grade Arts Matrix

Loom Weaving with The Little Loomhouse & Speed Art Museum Field Trip

First graders will explore the art of weaving by creating their own pieces on lap looms while taking turns on a Lou Tate Little Loom. Each student will take home a personal creation, and a collaborative piece will be displayed in their classroom.  

On a separate day, students will visit the Speed Art Museum to further inspire their artistic journey.
